Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that cancellations within 24 hours of your surf lesson incur a 50% fee. We lock in instructors and transfers for you, so late changes impact us significantly.

Hotel Pickup
Convenient pickup from your hotel and drive to surf spot.
Beach Instructions
Brief introduction on the beach covering the basics of surfing, surf safety, ocean awareness and the techniques you'll need to get up on the board.
Warming-up
Then we proceed with a warming up.
Boat to Reef (Reef breaks)
After the warming-up, we will enter the water (we go on a boat at reef breaks) and we'll spend about 2 hours in the water. On beach breaks we just walk in the water.
2 Hours of Surfing
In the water you will get hands-on instruction (max 2-3 students per instructor) and we are ready to catch some waves!
Relax and meet new friends in our 'Living room'
Enjoy a well deserved ice-cold Bintang and play some pool. While our crew guitarists play your favorite tunes you will meet fellow travelers and surfers at our relaxed bar and restaurant.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the surf lesson?
Each 2-hour lesson includes all equipment (board, rash guard, reef shoes), hotel pickup and drop-off, professional instruction, boat transfer to reef breaks when needed, and post-surf refreshments at our bar. We provide everything you need!
Do I need any surfing experience?
Not at all! Most of our students are complete beginners. Our instructors are experts at teaching first-timers, and we'll have you standing on your first waves in no time. We also offer intermediate and advanced coaching for experienced surfers.
What should I bring to the lesson?
Just bring yourself, swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel. We provide all the surfing equipment including boards, rash guards, and reef shoes. Don't forget your camera for the memories!
How do I book a lesson?
Booking is easy! Simply WhatsApp Tommy directly, and he'll arrange everything for you. We're flexible with scheduling and can usually accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety first! If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule your lesson at no extra cost. Lombok has great surf conditions year-round, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll find another day that works for you.
Can children take surf lessons?
Yes! We love teaching kids to surf. Children as young as 6 can join our lessons with special attention from our instructors. We also offer family packages where parents and kids can learn together.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens! You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your lesson with no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours incur a 50% fee as we've already arranged instructors and transport for you.
Which surf spots will we go to?
We choose spots based on your skill level and daily conditions. Beginners usually start at Selong Belanak or inside Gerupuk Bay. Intermediate surfers might visit Don Don or Outside Gerupuk. We know all the best spots!
